STUDENT GAME OF THE YEAR NASSCOM GFA 2016

Video Game Art and Design students of DSKIC SUPINFOGAME collaborated to create a fast paced 2D-Platformer 1 on 1 multiplayer game – PROXIMITY. The game won the STUDENT GAME OF THE YEAR – NASSCOM GAMING FORUM AWARD 2016. It was also showcased in the Indie Prize Showcase at Casual Connect, San Francisco in 2016 under the category for Best Multiplayer Game.

Overview

One Bomb. Two Players. Who will survive till the end? Welcome to Proximity, a fast paced 2D-Platformer 1 on 1 multiplayer game, where each player chooses a side: Alpha or Omega and duke it out in multiple arenas trying to pass on the Bomb to the other player until it explodes.

There are five characters the players can choose from, each with their own unique abilities, from which each player can make a team of 3. Each of these characters will be used sequentially as they are defeated(By having the bomb for too long). Once a player’s team is defeated, he loses the game.
